The Washington Wizards Trade Bradley Beal to the Denver Nuggets in a Three Team Deal with the Phoenix Suns

This trade is the most complicated of the three, but definitely benefits all the teams in the trade.

To start off, Beal his headed to Denver to team up with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Denver is currently one of the best teams in the league and are already championship contenders. By adding Beal, Denver will compete with the Clippers as the league’s favorite to win it all.

Phoenix also benefits from the trade, upgrading an overpaid Tyler Johnson for a young and talented Gary Harris as well as a reliable role player, Torrey Craig. Harris is also under contract for three more seasons so the Suns would not have to worry about him departing anytime soon.

Also, Bol Bol was the Nuggets second round pick who was projected to be a first round pick but has major injury concerns. If healthy, Bol Bol gives the Suns a much needed big man. While adding Harris definitely upgrades the Suns talent, they may be reluctant to give up Mikal Bridges and their first round pick which is likely to be in the lottery.

The Wizards get a total of four first round picks and two pick swaps as well as Tyler Johnson, Michael Porter, Mikal Bridges and Malik Beasley in the trade.

Beasley is a young player who averaged doubles digits off the bench for the Nuggets last season. He could become a reliable bench player for the Wizards and has some potential.

Tyler Johnson is a trade filler. The guard is making over $19 million next season which is way too much money for a player of his talents. However, his contract ends next summer, making him a free agent and getting him out of the Wizards hands.

Mikal Bridges was a 2018 lottery pick who averaged 8.3 points per game last season with the Suns. He will get a better chance to develop on the Wizards.

Michael Porter is the big get for the Wizards in this trade. Porter was once projected to be the first overall pick. However, he was drafted 14th overall to the Nuggets in 2018 because of injury issues. He spent all of last season on the sidelines with a knee injury. Porter has tons of talent. If he can stay healthy, he will definitely be a star in this league.

Of the three trades, this one benefits the Wizards most. However, it will  be the hardest to pull off.
