Who do you think is most likely to be traded by the deadline?

Collin Loring: While I think it makes the most sense to ship off Isaiah Thomas, I think Jordan McRae is the most likely Wizard to be moved. Averaging 13.1 points on a .413 clip from behind-the-arc, he’s the kind of guy who could be inserted into some lineups like Houston’s, without any
interruption.

If New York’s Marcus Morris is expected to garner a first-round pick, McRae should certainly net Washington a second.

Jack Skolnik: I think the most likely is still probably Davis Bertans although it’s no definite he gets moved. Playoff teams can never have enough shooting and that’s exactly what Bertans brings to the table.

In a rebuilding year and with Bertans on an expiring deal it makes sense that teams will want to inquire. I am still hesitant to say he gets moved though, because it sounds like Tommy Sheppard wants to re-sign him in an effort to be competitive next season.

Whether he gets traded or not, will come down to whether or not Bertans’s price tag will be too high in FA or if he does not have a desire to stay in DC.

Noah Ferguson: Davis Bertans is the obvious answer here. Since joining the Wizards, he has proven to be not only a lethal three-point specialist, but his 6’10 frame makes him an underrated defender as well. His name has been swirling in the trade discussion these past few weeks, as a sniper of his caliber is desperately needed on teams hunting for playoff glory.

Ethan Smith: Just because he’s going to get the most interest, I’m going with Davis Bertans. He’s cooled down a bit from his scorching start to the season, but he’s by far the most attractive trade asset on the team.

With Beal locked up until the Summer, I don’t see teams calling for anyone else, really.
