Robinson, Hachimura, and Brown Jr. stay healthy and play a lot

Grade: B

The young guys on this team need to improve in order to prepare for the return of John Wall next season. This is what I will be watching for most closely the rest of this season.

Coach Scott Brooks needs to let the young guys play and fail to improve. None of these three need to be stars but they need to improve to be solid starters or role-players.

Robinson needs to get his minutes, after being stuck on the Clippers bench all year, Brooks needs to play him so that next year he can give both Beal and Wall rest while having a young PG to trust running the team. Two things that Robinson needs to improve on are his three-point percentage and his playmaking.

If Robinson can become a 33-35% shooter from outside and consistently set his teammates up, he would be a great sidekick to the Beal and Wall next year.

Hachimura and Troy Brown Jr. have both already proven themselves this year to be great young players. They just need to keep playing.

Hachimura has missed over 20 games already this year which has seriously stunted his development, but if he can continue to play and improve his shooting to open up the floor next year with Beal and Wall, this team could be scary. Brown just needs to continue playing, he has been amazing, he is a solid defender, great scorer and he is only 20.

The improvement of these three players would be a major success. Just imagine a starting lineup next year of John Wall, Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura, Thomas Bryant and Troy Brown Jr. This is a playoff starting lineup, with Bertans and Robinson coming off the bench, this team could do some damage next year.

If Robinson, Hachimura and Brown Jr. can improve over the next 30 games it would be huge for the future of this team.
