3. Gortat wrecks the Raptors, then hammers.

Starting to see a trend here, are we? Marcin Gortat had an impressive finish over Serge Ibaka, DeMar DeRozan, AND Jakob Poeltl of the Toronto Raptors. He then gives a powerful scream before dropping the hammer (his nickname) against his palm running back on defense.

What a manimal, right?

Gortat only put up 12 points and 6 rebounds in this one across 28 minutes, but his points came on 75 percent shooting and he only committed one turnover. The Washington Wizards won the game 106-98.

Most importantly, this game tied the first round Eastern Conference playoff series at two games apiece. The Toronto Raptors would go on to win the series 4-2, but it was a hard-fought series with the Wizards losing the next two games by just ten points.

This was probably Marcin Gortat’s worst showing in the playoffs this season, as he averaged only 8.7 points and 6.3 rebounds, but he still shot a super efficient 55.8 percent from the field in the six games the Wizards played.

The Raptors would go on to be swept by the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers, who would go on to lose to the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 NBA finals.
