Washington Wizards guard, Bradley Beal, deserves a lot more respect than he’s getting for his outstanding play during the 2019-2020 NBA Season.

Snubbed once again…The blatant disrespect towards Washington Wizards guard, Bradley Beal must come to an end! The NBA announced the All-NBA teams on September 16 and surprisingly, Beal was missing from all three of the teams. Of course, many fans were surprised and outraged by this decision but Beal’s own reaction to the news was perfect! Check out his tweet after the news broke…

Don’t get me wrong. The Washington Wizards struggled mightily this season finishing 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 25-47 record. But Beal’s unbelievable season still deserves some recognition. Let’s not forget, before the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Beal was not selected to the All-Star game, either, even though he was putting up historic numbers in the months leading up to the event. That’s two snubs for a player who many people would agree is more than deserving of being an All-Star and an All-NBA player.

Bradley Beal is the first player EVER to average at least 30 points and six assists and not make an All-NBA team. That’s absolutely mind-blowing when you really think about it. I believe Beal agrees by looking at his response…

The last player to not be selected to All-NBA after averaging 30 points per game was Adrian Dantley for the Utah Jazz in 1982. But, there were only two All-NBA teams when Dantley played so it’s somewhat understandable Dantley he wasn’t chosen. Beal received the most voting points for All-NBA of any guard who did not make the team. As Fred Katz of The Athletic pointed out, Beal received the most voting points of any player not to make All-NBA last year, as well.”

In an underwhelming season for the Washington Wizards, Beal emerged as the true alpha while John Wall recovered from an Achilles injury. He may not have gotten the recognition he deserves, but his accomplishments this year will still live on forever. Let’s look at some of the records Bradley Beal broke during the 2019-2020 NBA Season.
