Fantasy time: Which player on the opposing team do you think can best help your squad?

Ron: Hmmmm… it is tough to pick between Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, the 76ers pair of unicorns. With Ben Simmons, the Wizards would be bringing in a younger, taller, stronger, faster version of Russell Westbrook. Enticing? Sure. But as the saying goes: there is food at home. With no need for Ben, it means that the Wizards would absolutely take Joel Embiid. But… there is the history with Russell Westbrook to consider:

Westbrook and Embiid don’t get along. Earlier histrionics aside, Joel is just so exciting. And if it was possible for Joel to leave port on board the Wizards ship, the Wizards would (finally) have the defensive anchor it desperately needs. It will never happen, but, hey, anything is possible in the NBA.

@DontBeAnUch:   Is that even a question? I’d take Beal in a heartbeat. A three-level scorer with JoJo and Ben would be the title favorites right now and in the title discussion for the next four-five years. Easily! He’s such a perfect fit for the Sixers; any pick and roll combo of Beal-Simmons/Beal-Embiid would terrorize opposing teams. Lethal!  A perimeter player capable of getting his own shot at will is what Sixer fans have been longing for since The Process started. Brad Beal is that dude. Free him by trading him to the birthplace of Liberty.
