Another 40-point performance from Bradley Beal is wasted, as the Wizards lose to the New Orleans Pelicans,124-106, for their 3rd straight loss.

The disappointing season continues…

The Washington Wizards have now lost 3 straight games after falling to the Pelicans, 124-106. Washington currently has the worst record in the league at 3-11. The Pistons and Timberwolves both have four wins, and they don’t have the leading scorer in the league (Bradley Beal) on their team! Beal is putting up points in bunches, but unfortunately, it has not been translating to wins.

The Wizards pulled off a big win against the Phoenix Suns (128-107) before everything went haywire, and they had to postpone their next 5 games due to health and safety protocols. Even though there have been a few hiccups, Adam Silver has been doing his best to keep the season going during this unpredictable time. New health and safety rules have been set to contain the spread, but only time will tell whether they’re effective.

As fans, we hope so because it’s been a struggle for the Wizards on and off the court to start the season. Since their 11 day layoff, Washington has suffered double-digit losses to the Spurs, Rockets, and now Pelicans.

Here are 3 takeaways from the Washington Wizards’ loss on the road to the New Orleans Pelicans.
