No. 3 – Can Bradley Beal extend his 25 point-scoring streak to 16 games?

Bradley Beal’s streak of scoring at least 25 points is now at 15 games after dropping 37 points with six rebounds and four assists against the Nets. The professional scorer just knows how to get buckets! Early on in the game vs. Brooklyn, it looked like the streak was coming to an end. Beal was held to only two points in the first quarter. However, it’s nothing for the leading scorer in the NBA to get going and heat up in an instant!

Beal exploded for 22 points in the fourth quarter, and the Wizards outscored the Nets 48-38 after starting the quarter down seven. Beal caught fire in crunch time and took over as the leader and true alpha dog of the team to put an end to Washington’s four-game losing streak. It was another unbelievable performance from the two-time All-Star. Now it’s time to see if he can keep it going against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Blazers will be coming to D.C. to face off against the Wizards for the first time this season. Beal scored 29 points in his only matchup against Portland last season, but the Wizards lost 125-104. So yes, I’m sure Beal would love to keep the 25-point scoring streak going against Damian Lillard and company, but he’ll probably be a lot happier with a win. If the streak continues, then so be it, but a Wizards victory is a lot more important right now.
