The Golden State Warriors could convince the Washington Wizards to trade Bradley Beal

Despite the unfortunate Klay Thompson injury, things aren’t as bleak in Golden State as it looked like they might be this season. On the back of Steph Curry, the Warriors are two games above .500 (14-12), so they’re probably not as desperate as they were earlier this season. But the possibility of pairing Bradley Beal next to Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and eventually Thompson would once again put the Warriors “lightyears ahead” of the rest of the league.

If the Wizards are going to help the Warriors assemble another superteam, they need to drive a hard bargain. If they send James Wiseman and Minnesota’s first-round pick (acquired in the D’Angelo Russell trade) to D.C., and I’ll drive Beal to the airport myself.

The Warriors would need to throw in some other contracts to keep it even, either Kelly Oubre (which would be a fun reunion) or Andrew Wiggins (which would be…not as fun), but Wiseman and the Minnesota pick is basically hitting the lottery for the Wizards. Everything else is just filler.
