The Washington Wizards may be in the worst situation they could possibly be in.

Washington Wizards fans have never had it easy. I think anybody who is a fan of this franchise can tell you that they love a team that clearly does not love them back.

We have witnessed a lot of bad basketball over the years as fans of this team, and I am here to tell you this may be the worst I have ever seen things.

The Wizards are now 15-27 after losing to the New York Knicks by 18, 131-113. During the loss, they trailed by as many as 30.

Turnovers, no defense, and a lack of effort seem to be the M.O. for this year’s Wizards squad, and they were all on full display in the loss to the Knicks.

Now, no one person or thing can be blamed for their lack of success, but there is plenty of blame to go around. Its starts at the top.

The front office hasn’t done its job, the coaching staff hasn’t done their job, and the players on the floor haven’t done their job.

Plain and simple.

Despite all of this, the Wizards seem to be fine with it. Ava Wallace of the Washington Post recently reported that the Wizards would be patient at the upcoming trade deadline.

The Washington Wizards, who are now 15-27, are operating as if they have “time on their hands.” The truth: they’re four games out of the final play-in spot with only 30 games left to play.

A team that is nowhere near the top pick in the draft or the playoff picture is stuck somewhere in the middle. If this were happening on other teams, every. single. person. would be on the hot seat, including the water boy. The Wizards have instead chosen to look the other way.

This team is a mess and needs a major change fast. But they would prefer the slow death, I suppose.

Let’s break down just how bad things are for the Washington Wizards…..
