No 2. – Is there anyone on the roster available for trade?

Besides the constant chatter about trading Bradley Beal, there really hasn’t been much talk about anyone else on the Wizards roster. Around this time, there’s usually a ton of conversations around the league about which players teams have made available, but it’s been quiet on the Wizards’ end. You’d think there would be a ton of other names being tossed around with the Beal trade rumors finally starting to cool down, but that hasn’t been the case.

There’s been a few whispers and rumblings about Troy Brown Jr. and Robin Lopez potentially being of interest to some teams, but nothing concrete yet. The Wizards don’t have many attractive trade chips, but they can still call around to gauge some players’ value. Everybody on the roster is technically available to be traded besides Alex Len, who can’t be dealt for at least three months since he signed with the team on January 23.

Everyone and everything must be evaluated at this point. Who does the front office view as untouchable, and who do they consider expendable? We won’t have answers to these questions until the trade deadline and buyout period ends, but the Wizards need to explore all options. Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook, Rui Hachimura, Davis Bertans, and Deni Avdija seem to be unavailable for various reasons, but you never know. If the Wizards are presented with an offer they can’t refuse, they must pounce without hesitation. Time is ticking!
