Remember when the backcourt was the only part of the Washington Wizards‘ roster that they had figured out? The style of play may not always have been pretty, but there’s no denying that the Wizards had something good last season with Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal leading the charge as the starting guards.

However, the rumor mill never sleeps, and that’s especially true during the week of the NBA Draft. Fittingly, one of the Wizards’ few above-average groups has now become an enormous question mark. Rumors continue to swirl around Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Lakers, while Bradley Beal’s future in Washington is also in question, despite any and all attempts by GM Tommy Sheppard to shut that down.

This year’s draft is full of top-tier talent, but most of those players will probably be lottery picks and gone before the Wizards are on the clock. Of course, no one thought Deni Avdija would slide to the Wizards during the 2020 NBA Draft. So anything is possible. It’s the NBA Draft. This is where crazy happens.

Here are three guards that the Washington Wizards could take with the 15th pick in this year’s draft…
