Wizards vs Nets Prediction
This one is gross. It’s like saying “which do you like more, sardines or anchovies?” Neither, they’re both smelly rotten fish.
But in a war of smelly fish someone has to come out on top. The Wizards are just 2-14 against the spread (ATS) in their last 16 while Brooklyn is is 1-8 ATS in their last nine and have lost nine straight games. Both teams are a disaster right now with bottom-10 offensive and defensive ratings over their last 10 games.
The Nets have the worst defense in the entire league in that span and that’s welcome news for a Wizards offense that has, ahem, struggled to adjust to life without Beal. They’ve scored more than 100 points just once in their last five games but should be able to hit the century mark against a Brooklyn defense that has given up at least 110 points in six straight.
While it’s hard to trust Washington right now, it’s much harder to trust the Nets. Brooklyn has lost five straight by double digits, and that includes games against the woeful Kings and Jazz, while the Wizards at least showed some life in beating the 76ers last week and mounting a late comeback against the Suns.
I’m holding my nose and siding with the Wizards -2.5 (-110) at home. Dinwiddie and Kuzma should have space to operate and there’s no worse team in basketball than Brooklyn right now.
No one likes the stench of rotten fish, but everyone likes the smell of fresh, crisp dollars coming out of the ATM. You’ll be able to coat yourself with that glorious aroma when you take advantage of WynnBET’s free $200 cash today. Don’t forget to claim your offer. Bet $10, Win $200, sign up for WynnBET now!
