Like any NBA team, the Washington Wizards have plenty of work to do once NBA Free Agency officially kicks off. They’ve already gotten to work on reshaping their roster, first selecting Johnny Davis in the 2022 NBA Draft and then making a trade for Monte Morris and Will Barton.

Before we even reach free agency the Wizards are already sure to look significantly different than they did during the 2021-22 NBA season. For good reason. The Wizards have a number of solid to inspiring young players on their roster, a couple of very good high-end talents and a few plus veterans making up their roster.

Everything hasn’t meshed, though, and now the Wizards are looking to reshape this group while keeping the core pieces intact. Bradley Beal qualifies as a 2022 NBA free agent, and he’s the main attraction in that regard.

Will the recent moves be enough to convince Beal to give the franchise more time to build this up around him? With or without Beal, where will a promising young big man in Thomas Bryant sign, now that his time in Washington appears to be at its expiration date?

There are big questions, from Beal to Bryant, that need answering. We’ve already learned where Tomas Satoransky will be playing next as the veteran guard agreed to a deal with FC Barcelona shortly after the NBA season ended.

The list of Wizards free agents set to hit the open market isn’t very long. Still, there’s a fair amount of talent between Beal and Bryant and there are some intriguing players after them that will be available at a reasonable price.

Here we’re predicting where these players will land based on fit and need.
