Bradley Beal had the most disappointing season of his NBA career during the 2021-22 campaign. The Washington Wizards rewarded him with a supermax contract that includes a no-trade clause despite his struggles, leaving many fans concerned about how things will play out from here.

Not only did Beal play in a career-low 40 games last year, but he also shot a career-worst 30 percent from behind the arc. He scored fewer points per game than he had in any of the previous three seasons and the Wizards were flat-out bad as a team when he was on the court.

The ceiling of the team around him can be argued for days, but what is more urgent and vital in the short term is whether Bradley Beal will bounce back at all next season. Will he return to the all-star level of play he was at leading up to last year? Or was that the beginning of a downward trend in his production on the court?

All things considered, there’s more reason to believe Beal is going to bounce next season. These three factors are the most significant in why Wizards fans and NBA fans, in general, should expect to see the Beal of old during the 2022-23 NBA season.
