Last night was rough for fans of the Washington Wizards as they lost a nail biter against the Chicago Bulls 113-111. It was an amazing game from start to finish, never really getting out of control for either team.

Both teams had their fair share of key moments and matchups that swung the game, but also had some rough moments sprinkled in there as well. This was most prominent in the fourth quarter.

The Washington Wizards were given every opportunity to win this game, yet still failed to capitalize.

After a slow start to the game, the Wizards caught fire in the second half, allowing them to take the lead for sizable periods of time during the third and fourth quarters. Although, they could not finish the game strong.

The exact opposite was true for the Bulls, they started off strong but fell off in the second half, seeming much more timid and less aggressive. However, they finished the game with some heroic shooting and strong rebounding.

This loss brings the Washington Wizards to an incredibly underwhelming 11-14. Just half a game ahead of the Chicago Bulls in the standings, and only good for the 11 seed in the Eastern Conference.

This was a game they were looking to win, especially without their star player Bradley Beal who is out due to injury. Not to mention a loss to a team that could challenge them for a playoff spot later down the road. Truly a heartbreaker.

With all that being said, there were some players for the Washington Wizards that played incredibly well and deserve recognition for their play last night. However, the opposite is true for some players who underperformed and did not help this team at all.

Now it’s time to dive into the studs and duds for the Wizards in last night’s game.
