Finding stars is not easy and the Washington Wizards already have three that mesh well together.

With Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis, and Kyle Kuzma, the Washington Wizards already have a big three that plays well together. The only thing between the three high scoring players, the only issue is the inconsistent defense.

It is rare to get two stars that mesh together as well as Porzingis and Kuzma, not to mention having a third star that spaces the floor as well as Beal on the roster next to them.

On top of this, the Wizards have role players that mesh perfectly with them as well. Deni Avdija, Jordan Goodwin, Corey Kispert, and Monte Morris have been perfect alongside the elite play of the big three. Even with the shooting woes of Avdija this season.

The only thing really missing from this team is a high-quality point guard. Luckily, the Wizards have players like Will Barton and Rui Hachimura who are on larger contracts without a true fit on the roster and can be used to upgrade their one guard position.

Finding a way to trade for a player like Patrick Beverley, or even finding other quality guards by leveraging Hachimura’s youth could prove to be incredibly beneficial.

No matter what decision the Washington Wizards make, there is a strong argument to support them as they try to escape the pit of mediocrity.
