Should the Washington Wizards trade for this MVP candidate?

There is a good argument to be made that the Washington Wizards should go all in with their current roster.

There aren’t many opportunities to run a team with three All-Star caliber players on the roster. The Washington Wizards have just that and have the opportunity to build upon that already solid core.

Trading for DeMar DeRozan could potentially give the Wizards a big four with all of those guys being fully capable of averaging 20 points per game. This could also give the Wizards spacing and defense off the bench to help support this squad.

If coached correctly, a Wizards team featuring Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma, Kristaps Porzingis, and DeMar DeRozan would be an elite squad capable of going all the way. The defense could also improve as getting Alex Caruso in this kind of trade would not be out of the question.

If they could keep Corey Kispert and Deni Avdija for their bench unit along with Daniel Gafford and defensive stud Jordan Goodwin, this would be a formidable roster come playoff time. This has potential to be one of, if not the best eight-man rotations in the league.

With the right coaching, this team could win a championship.
