Nerlens Noel is a cheap option for the Washington Wizards.

Nerlens Noel was a major contributor to the New York Knicks just two seasons ago and can be once again for the Washington Wizards if they trade for him. He is a pure shot blocking machine that can help any team.

He has recently agreed with the Detroit Pistons to part ways and GM Troy Weaver is looking for a trade partner to find Noel a new home. The Washington Wizards may be the best choice.

Due to Noel’s smaller contract, he could be a Wizard for an incredibly low price. With the Pistons looking for young talent, they may be able to get the big man for one of their young players struggling to find a spot in this roster.

Rui Hachimura has already been in trade rumors due to his inability to find a consistent role on the Wizards roster and Isaiah Todd would be added just to make contracts work while still giving both teams the ability to grow in this trade.

The Pistons get the young players they are looking to collect, and the Wizards get a shot blocking vet. This seems like a win-win trade that the Wizards should definitely look into.
