The Washington Wizards trading for Jakob Poeltl could be huge.

Jakob Poeltl has been trending recently and not just due to an online game using his name. He has been involved in numerous trade rumors. He is a versatile big man who can defend multiple positions and is pretty solid in the post.

Poeltl is a talented rebounder and would fit perfectly alongside Kristaps Porzingis on the Washington Wizards. His talents would also elevate both Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzmas play to another level.

Due to his bargain of a contract, the Wizards should be able to get him for relatively cheap. However, they would still have to give up some young prospects.

This would give the San Antonio Spurs more young talent to potentially build around, including some players with a very high ceiling. This is needed as the Spurs have lost some of their young core due to some unfortunate off the court issues.

This trade also sees the Wizards get a high-quality starting center that would fit perfectly with their stars while also creating space on their roster. This gives the Wizards room to explore the buyout market and players who still have not found a home in free agency.
