Three block buster Kyle Kuzma trade scenarios for the Wiz
Trade scenario No.2: Ben Simmons to become new franchise point guard.
As great as the Brooklyn Nets have been, Ben Simmons has not been great for them. He is still a great player and has potential to get back to the All-Star game someday, but Brooklyn should not be his long-term home.
Kyle Kuzma would be the perfect target for the Nets as he can play both sides of the ball and would be a bit of an oversized small forward next to Kevin Durant. He would also give extra relief to both Durant and Kyrie Irving.
He would be a huge addition as a catch-and-shoot option for a team that already features Seth Curry and Joe Harris. He could be the difference maker for the Nets as they look to win their first NBA championship.
Back home with the Washington Wizards, they would finally get a franchise point guard in the post-John Wall era. Simmons is a great playmaking guard and has tremendous athleticism, playing him in the fast break would be ideal.
Putting Simmons in a lineup featuring Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis could be elite as he is a Defensive Player of the Year caliber player who can also create for shooters not only on the break, but also in the halfcourt offense as well. If his three starts falling, teams should be scared.
