Heads were turned this season when Washington Wizards All-Star hopeful Kyle Kuzma hinted that he may not return to the Washington Wizards next season. This has led to many fans demanding that the Wizards trade the former champion.

Yet, for whatever reason, Tommy Sheppard and the rest of the Wizards front office are dead set on contending with their big three of Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma, and Kristaps Porzingis. There is not a lot of confidence around the league that this core could lead any team to a championship, not to mention one without high level role players.

While Kuzma himself has been great, as have Porzingis and a variety of other players on the roster, the overall performance of the team has been poor at best. They have the talent to be at least a fringe playoff team, but instead they find themselves fighting and clawing for a spot in the Play-In Tournament.

Even through the rough season in terms of winning games, Kuzma is still averaging 22 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4 assists. All of which are huge improvements over his career averages.

While he hasn’t been the most efficient player in the league, the fan favorite forward is still seeing a slight improvement in his career averages for shooting splits.

These huge improvements and his steal of a contract have made Kuzma an attractive trade target. Especially since his pregame antics and ability to embrace any city he plays in have helped put fans in seats, the ultimate goal of any franchise.

While the Washington Wizards have said that they will not trade their star player, he likely isn’t as untouchable as they say he is. If given an offer strong enough, very few player in the league are truly never on the table in trade talks.

Let’s take a look at what teams could make a good offer for the Wizards star.
