The Phoenix Suns have plenty of trade assets that could pull off a Kyle Kuzma trade.

From Jae Crowder to Deandre Ayton and even Chris Paul, the Phoenix Suns have more high-quality trade assets than nearly any other team in the league. However, the big question is how much they want in return for these players.

The one thing we know for certain is that the Phoenix Suns will be looking to make roster upgrades. They went from two wins away from a championship, to blowing a series lead as a one seed, to now they are fighting to stay in the Play-In Tournament.

While much of this drop off has been due to injuries to Devin Booker and Chris Paul, they still have a lack of shot creation outside of their backcourt. The rest of the roster is incredibly reliant on their guards to get them open shots.

This is where Kyle Kuzma comes in. He has a solid handle and nearly all of his shots are created using dribble moves. While this may hold a team back if he were to only play like this, finding a nice in-between next to a player like Chris Paul could make him a formidable threat for the Suns.

The only thing really holding them back from pitching a big offer to the Wizards is their hopes to contend. Trading away any rotational pieces this late in the season could really hinder team chemistry going towards the playoffs.

Verdict: extremely unlikely but possible
