3 teams that could convince the Wizards to trade Kyle Kuzma
The New York Knicks could leverage Obi Toppin to make a push for Kyle Kuzma.
The New York Knicks fit the bill for teams that Kyle Kuzma would be interested in. A big market looking to compete with a lively night life. Those are all things that we all know could attract Kyle Kuzma to a team.
What makes them even more interesting as a possible suitor for Kyle Kuzma is the huge amount of young talent that is just wasting away on the Knicks bench. Obi Toppin, Cam Reddish, Emmanuel Quickley and others rarely get minutes due to sheer star talent in the starting lineup.
These players may have enough talent between them that when combined with a pick or two could convince the Wizards to part with a player like Kyle Kuzma. Three young players, two of which we already know are great players and will grow in a new situation.
The wild card in this trade is Cam Reddish. he is a player that has shown flashes of being a player like Andrew Wiggins or OG Anunoby but has struggled to find a consistent role on a team so far in his career.
Pairing him next to Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis could give him the spacing to grow into exactly the kind of player we all know he can be. The Wizards could be the team that finds the rotations and role that can see a breakout season from the former Duke star.
If any team in the league could convince Tommy Sheppard and the Washington Wizards to move on from Kyle Kuzma, it would be one of these teams. They each have the assets to trade for him and the incentive.
