Kyrie Irving is one of the most talented players in the league and could push the Wizards to greatness.

The Washington Wizards are in desperate need of a high-quality point guard and their offense has been stagnant at times this season. There aren’t many better at patching those issues up than Kyrie Irving.

He is not only great at scoring the ball, but he can create for others as well. While his assist numbers may not show it, he is an incredibly talented playmaker and could really benefit a team featuring Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis in the frontcourt.

Irving has one of the best handles of all time and is capable of breaking down opposing defenses at a level the Wizards have never even seen. Even with John Wall.

He is also capable of staying in front of a player while on defense, something that other perimeter players currently on the roster can’t seem to do. While he may not be a two-way star like Kyle Lowry once was, he’s an upgrade over many players at his position in the league.

The Wizards could benefit heavily from bringing in a player who can light up the scoreboard like he can. Making this move could push them over the top this season.

Now, let’s dive into why the Washington Wizards should absolutely not trade for Kyrie Irving.
