Bradley Beal seems to have shifted away from what made him such a great player in the first place.

When he played next to John Wall in the backcourt, Bradley Beal was one of the best catch and shoot options in the league. There was a five-year window where he shot at or just shy of 40% from three every season.

This was largely due to the fact that he took better shots and a majority of his looks from distance were off of passes from Wall. However, Beal has become a player who likes to dribble the ball and create his own looks. Something that worked for him in two years where the team wasn’t that good.

Something that would see his numbers get better as well as the team success would be if he became the third or fourth ball handler on the team. This is not saying he should never handle the ball, look at Klay Thompson who is the Warriors fourth choice of ball handler and still gets his iso opportunities.

Bradley Beal just needs to have more catch and shoot looks. This is where his greatest strength as a player always has been and continues to be to this day. Finding a way to put him in sets where he gets a good look in the corner off of a solid pass would do wonders for both him and the franchise.

Luckily, the third player who needs a new role that is featured here could fix both of the aforementioned problems.
