The regular season is effectively over for the Wizards and Raptors. Every game going forward is a must-win if these teams hope to make the play-in tournament.
These teams just played each other Thursday, resulting in a 119-108 Wizards win in Washington. I think there’s good reason to be optimistic about Washington again today and I’ll detail one of my bold predictions on this game later.
But first, let me tell you about the highest-valued promotion in sports betting at Caesars Sportsbook. You might even want to use the offer on today’s game.
Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code
Caesars is offering its new users $1,250 worth of bet insurance on their first wager.
That means you can bet with confidence, knowing that if you lose you’ll be refunded up to $1,250 in bonus bets.
All you have to do is sign up with Caesars Sportsbook, use promo code FSNBAFULL, verify your identity, and deposit at least $10.
Once you make it through those steps, you’re ready to place your fully insured bet!
There’s no wrong way to go about placing your bonus bet, but why not try to win with your favorite team?
Wizards vs. Raptors Bold Prediction
These teams could not get closer in the standings, tied at 15 games back from the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the East.
It’s hard not to look at Thursday’s game when comparing these two teams. Washington jumped out to an early first-half lead and put the game away with relentless scoring – putting up 30+ points in each of the final three quarters.
Shooting from deep was a big reason why Washington was able to pull away so easily. The Wizards made 14-of-30 attempts (46.7%) from 3-point range, led by Kyle Kuzma with 4-of-9 shooting.
I don’t see why Kuzma couldn’t do that again.
Kyle Kuzma Over 2.5 Made 3-pointers
Kuzma has averaged 2.56 made 3-pointers per game this season and that mark ticks up to 2.84 per game at home. He also attempts just over eight 3-point attempts in home games and he’s made at least three 3-pointers in four of his past six games.
Kuzma has made 3-pointers at only a 33.3% rate this season, but he is the team’s top 3-point shooter and Toronto ranks 27th in the NBA in allowed 3-point percentage (37.5%).
Look for recent history to repeat itself and for Kuz to bury at least three 3-pointers in this matchup between teams battling for a spot in the play-in tournament.
Even if you don’t want to bet on Kuzma’s 3-pointers, there might be another play you like in this game. Regardless of what you choose, the most important thing is that you lock in bet insurance worth up to $1,250 so you have more than one chance to win!
