Now oh for two in the weekend as the Washington Wizards fall to the Milwaukee Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back. This comes directly after the overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors. This game was no less exciting as it came down to the wire.

The Bucks started off hot, jumping out to a 16-point lead at one point in the first half. They were moving the ball well and hitting their jumpers. The Wizards just could not score consistently or get a stop during the first 24 minutes of play.

They ended up charging back during the trail end of the second quarter but were only able to cut the deficit to 11 going into halftime. It was a tough first two quarters for the team as they just could not find a rhythm.

The Washington Wizards would turn things around at halftime.

The Wizards caught fire coming out of the break and were able to charge back into the game. They nearly erased the point differential in the third quarter alone.

This was powered by a strong second half by Deni Avdija who was locking down Giannis Antetokounmpo completely for stretches of the game. He also corralled six rebounds and recorded two dimes. Not to mention his 17 points and three steals. It was the return of Turbo Avdija as he powered them back into the game. This included hitting a layup to give the Wizards the lead.

The fourth quarter was dominated by iso ball by Bradley Beal which helped him record 33 points on the night along with nine rebounds.

Ultimately, the Bucks proved to be too much for the Wizards as they fall by six despite being within two points in the last two minutes of the game.

This was a tough game to lose as the Washington Wizards lose a large chunk of their cushion on the ten seed while also falling farther behind the nine seed. This makes the playoff dream much more difficult.
