The Washington Wizards have officially been pushed out of the Play-In Tournament. They are currently tied with the Chicago Bulls; however, they have a worse conference record than the Bulls so they get the 11 seed.

This means that every single loss would be devastating for the Wizards chances of making the playoffs. It’s possible that this could be the milestone for Kyle Kuzma this offseason as well since he claims he wants to compete.

Of course, every game matters going forward, but they’ll need to pull off some upsets in order to pull off a playoff berth. The upcoming game against the Philadelphia 76ers is probably one of the most important games left in the season.

Being behind in the standings then immediately running into one of the best teams in the league is far from ideal. The Wizards in particular do not match up well against the 76ers. finding a win here may be incredibly difficult.

The game between the Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers will likely be decided by two players.

Bradley Beal and James Harden, two elite players with an all-around skill set on offense. They can score from anywhere on the floor with elite efficiency and are also fully capable of making great reads and finding open shooters. Ok, maybe Harden has a bit of an advantage on that last point.

This matchup is key to any matchup between the two teams as if one player is able to completely outclass the other, it gives their team a definite advantage. The scoring of these two players is invaluable to their teams.

This game against the 76ers is incredibly important for the Washington Wizards, although, the same could be said about every game following the All-Star break. If they want to win this, Bradley Beal will need to step up and make his shots, especially down the stretch.
