The Washington Wizards are in danger of missing the play-in tournament in the Eastern Conference, falling to the No. 11 spot, two games behind the No. 10 seed Chicago Bulls.

Washington is just 3-7 in its last 10 games, and it won’t have Kyle Kuzma available for Tuesday night’s game against the Orlando Magic. Luckily for Washington, the Magic have also struggled as of late, losing seven of their last 10 games.

This season, the Wizards have not been bad on the road, going 16-21, but they are slight dogs in this game.

Can they get back on track and pull off a small upset win?

Here are the latest odds:

Even though Kuzma is out, there is a trend that is on the Wizards’ side on Tuesday night.

Orlando is just 2-7 against the spread as a home favorite this season, the worst mark in the NBA.

Neither of these teams has impressed this season, as Washington is 23rd in net rating and Orlando is 26th. However, the Wizards are eighth in the NBA in net rating on the road this season.

Washington is being undervalued against the struggling young Magic, and Kuzma’s absence shouldn’t move the team all the way to an underdog in this game.

Orlando is just 16-19 at home this season, losing three of its last four games at Amway Center.

I’ll back Washington in a near pick’em scenario on Tuesday.
