The Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks are both playing the second night of a back-to-back on Wednesday night, and the Wizards are major underdogs in this game.

It’s likely Washington will sit Kyle Kuzma, Bradley Beal, Monte Morris and Kristaps Porzingis again with the playoffs out of reach, which means the scrappy young Wizards will try to compete with Atlanta.

The Hawks beat the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, even though Trae Young was out with an illness.

The Wizards took a tough loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, but they have actually hung around a bit in their recent games against the Bucks and New York Knicks.

Can Washington cover the spread on Wednesday night? Here’s a look at the latest odds:

It may seem a little crazy, but I actually like the Wizards to cover in this spot.

Washington has covered in two straight games, and the team is 9-6 ATS on the second night of a back-to-back this season while the Hawks are just 4-7-1 ATS in that spot.

There’s a chance Young is not able to go after missing Tuesday’s game, which could move this line in Washington’s favor.

Atlanta has also struggled as a home favorite this season, going 14-18 against the spread.

All season long Atlanta has been simply an average team, so after a commanding win last night, I wouldn’t be shocked to see a letdown tonight.

Take the points with the Wizards and their young players fighting to earn minutes next season.
