Donte DiVincenzo would slide in perfectly with the Wizards needs

Probably one of the most expensive options in the Wizards price range, Donte DiVincenzo might be perfect for them to pursue. While he is on a player option, it seems likely that he may look to take his talents elsewhere due to the logjam in the Golden State Warriors’ backcourt.

Following his championship with the Milwaukee Bucks, he has spent time with both the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors and hasn’t really found his footing yet. The Wizards could be where he fits in.

DiVincenzo is a combo guard who is a borderline elite defender and one of the best rebounding guards in the NBA. His shot can be a little inconsistent, but the effort is there, and the energy is huge.

He has spent time at both guard positions on every team he has played. although, he primarily plays the two. He is a capable playmaker off the bench and is an incredibly well-rounded player that any team should want.

The biggest question regarding his fit is how much money he could ask for should he decline his player option as the Washington Wizards will only have an estimated $8 million to spend.

Most of the players listed are available at a minimum or near minimum contract. If the Washington Wizards are able to pull in one or two of these players, the bench should look far more rounded out and better next season.
