Cam Whitmore would also be a great selection for the Washington Wizards

The former Villanova Wildcat forward is an elite scoring prospect at only 18 years old. He is fully capable of scoring at all three levels and has a long history of putting opposing players on highlight reels.

The six-foot seven wing averaged 12.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game on quality efficiency. He isn’t much of a statistical defender and his playmaking definitely needs to improve, but these are quality numbers for a player his age.

While he has room to grow as a shooter, only shooting 35% in his lone season with the Wildcats, and his handle could use some work, those are both areas that he could improve in with time. He already has the strength to force his way to the rim even against NBA caliber defenses.

He is already looking like one of those incredibly versatile wings that every team wants. His defense is impressive, his scoring is elite, and his rebounding is just great. With the proper development, Whitmore could easily become a better version of Andrew Wiggins or OG Anunoby for the Wizards.
