No. 8 Nick Smith Jr

While his potential ceiling and floor are largely a mystery due to the fact that he missed much of the season due to injury, we do know that he is a talented scorer at every level. His pure understanding of offense is one of the best in the draft.

Smith Jr is a quick player who can rise up to show off his athleticism. He was ranked as the third best player in the nation coming out of high school. Still his injury history is a concern.

The biggest reason Smith isn’t higher on the list is due to his lack of playing time with the Arkansas Razorbacks and his lack of efficiency from the floor.

There are still many who believe in the scoring ability of Smith Jr, but it’s not in the best interest of the Washington Wizards to draft him. The concerns are just too much for them to take the risk on the scoring guard.
