The Wizards make a move with the Dallas Mavericks

One of the other teams in the league who clearly needs to make a change in their roster is the Dallas Mavericks. They missed the Play-In Tournament despite another elite season from Luka Doncic and finally getting a second ball handler on the floor next to him in Kyrie Irving.

The Wizards could be the team that offers them a third star by dangling Kyle Kuzma in a potential sign and trade deal. However, the Wiz would only move Kuzma if they were the clear winners in the trade.

The Wizards would not only pick up the tenth pick in the draft in this trade, but they would also pick up a young guard who has impressive potential as a two-way threat. All this while only giving up two players who won’t be in the long-term plans anyway? Yes please!

This could open up the ability for the Wizards to draft both Anthony Black and Bilal Coulibaly, two players who I think are the best options for the team. Having those two be the focus of the team going forward gives them both the opportunity to improve on their weaknesses.
