Ranking top 10 Bradley Beal trade packages for Washington Wizards
By Jack Simone
No. 2: Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have been the main team listed in Bradley Beal rumors, as they are fresh off a run to the NBA Finals and could look to capitalize on that success this offseason.
Adding Beal to the core of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo would elevate the Heat to the next level. One of Miami’s biggest problems this season was offensive shot creation, and Beal would fix that.
Butler is an elite playoff performer, but he’s not a regular-season guy. And Bam Adebayo isn’t a score-first player. With Beal on the roster, Miami would have their scoring leader and go-to guy.
Washington would get a new franchise centerpiece in Tyler Herro, at least for the time being. Herro missed almost all of Miami’s playoff run, making him somewhat expendable for the Heat.
The 23-year-old has shown star potential and would have a chance to play freely in Washington without the pressure of having to compete for a playoff spot.
Duncan Robinson would be a reclamation project of sorts for the Wizards, while Nikola Jovic would be a nice young prospect for them to develop for the next few seasons.
Add in the draft pick, and this could be one of the most realistic trade packages for Beal this offseason.
