The 2023 NBA Draft is finally upon us. Having completed the Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis trades in the last week, the Washington Wizards are already one of the most active teams this offseason. This could possibly continue on the draft night. Here is your guide to keep up with the most exciting draft day in recent Wizards history.

What draft picks do the Wizards have?

Washington currently holds the no.8, no.35, no.42, and no. 57 picks in the draft.

There is a possibility that the Wizards will also receive the Phoenix Suns’ 52nd-overall pick as part of the Beal trade, but those details haven’t been announced yet.

The Wizards could potentially consolidate the multiple second-round picks it has to move up in the draft, ideally into the late first round. We could even see a more significant deal involving the likes of Monte Morris and Delon Wright to help Washington move up or get more draft picks.

Who is projected to be drafted by the Washington Wizards?

There hasn’t been a clear indication of how Washington is leaning with the no.8 pick. The mock drafts and reporting suggest that some favorites to be a Wizard are Anthony Black, Kobe Bufkin, Cam Whitmore, Cason Wallace, Ausar Thompson, and Bilal Coulibaly. There is a high likelihood that Washington will end up with one of these names, but with this new front office, there are no certainties.

When and where is the Draft?

The 2023 NBA Draft will take place tonight at 8 pm ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

How can I watch the Draft?

The 2023 NBA Draft will be televised by ESPN, ESPN+, and ABC.

If you’re in the DMV area, you can head to Capital One Arena for the Wizards’ draft party at 7:00 p.m. ET. The party is free and open to the public. You can RSVP here.
