Trade No. 2

Both the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to take the next step as contending teams. In order to make the right adjustments, they may use the Washington Wizards to drop young talent in exchange for building blocks for their team.

Once again, the Wizards receive high potential while moving pieces who no longer fit the timeline. This time receiving Mo Bamba and Josh Green, players who may need a new situation with real minutes to take the next step forward.

Jarred Vanderbilt is a player that fell out of the Lakers rotation but could still be extremely valuable to a team looking for a boost on the defensive end of the floor. The Dallas Mavericks get that for the price of their backup two-guard.

Even the Lakers fill in the gaps in their roster by picking up a legitimate backup point guard and a starting caliber center.

Ultimately this seems like a trade that every team involved would jump at the opportunity to make.
