Trade No. 5

The Sacramento Kings seem ready to win now. In order to do so, they will need to gain veteran experience and depth off the bench. Luckily, they have the youth to make this happen.

They really lacked shooting from the lead guard position and defense at the center position during their series against the Golden State Warriors. Naturally, Delon Wright and Daniel Gafford seem like the perfect pieces for them.

While the price seems steep for the Kings at first, it makes sense for them to try and find depth that fits with the current roster and saves them money. This is especially true now that they have significant cap space to spend over the next three years before rising star Keegan Murray becomes a free agent.

The Wizards would pick up the perfect teammate for newly acquired Jordan Poole in Davion Mitchell. Kevin Huerter would also be a great trade asset at the deadline as a player with multiple years left on his contract and a skill set that nearly every team wants.

Should the Washington Wizards make any of these trades, they will gain a high potential prospect with room to grow for the low price of a vet or two that no longer fit the team’s future plans. All of these trades seem like big wins for the Wiz.
