The pure potential of Cam Reddish is high enough that the Washington Wizards should at least give him a year to see what he can do. He has the tools to be great, he just needs the opportunity to put everything together.
Going from multiple situations where he was expected to fit into a catch-and-shoot role next to other stars to a team where he can create shots for himself would be great for the young forward. It’s possible, if not likely, that signing with a team like the Wizards gives him the opportunity that he needs to become the three-level scoring threat that he once projected to be.
He would fit perfectly next to the current young core and would be given the opportunity to truly play to his strengths for the first time in his career. This could be the best situation for him.
With the Washington Wizards looking to build a strong young core, the pros of adding Cam Reddish to the roster far outweigh the Cons. This seems like a good potential free agency signing for the Wizards.
