Corey Kispert may see an increase in his 2K rating

At the start of the season, Corey Kispert was gifted a 78 overall rating to kick off his sophomore campaign. He had surprisingly low stats outside of his shooting attributes which were naturally his strong point.

The main thing to note with Kispert ahead of announcing his rating is that he showed far more ability to dribble the ball this season and had some nasty dunks, especially to end the season. If the developers of the game noticed this, he could see a larger increase in his ratings compared to his teammates.

Kispert took a nice step forward in year two as he saw improvements in numerous stats including a huge leap in three-point percentage. He also saw a large leap in his field goal percentage, points per game, and a subtle improvement in a few other areas.

That being said, anything above an 82 seems unlikely as then he starts entering conversations that he isn’t ready for yet.

I predict that he will receive a 2K rating of 81 overall. With his stellar all-around showcase to end the season, I believe he has earned a spot in the 80 overall club.
