The Washington Wizards’ full 2023-24 NBA schedule
The Washington Wizards will have plenty of marquee matchups throughout the season. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 15th, the Wizards will host the Detroit Pistons. On St. Patrick’s Day, Washington will host the Boston Celtics, while on Easter Sunday, the Miami Heat will visit the Washington Wizards.
The most anticipated games for Wizards fans will be the games against the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors.
Bradley Beal will face the Wizards in a Suns uniform for the first time on Sunday, December 17th in Phoenix. Beal will visit Capital One Arena on Sunday, February 4th, when the Wizards host the Suns. Beal’s return to Washington will surely be one of the most memorable matchups of the season.
Another anticipated return will be Jordan Poole’s in Chase Center. That will occur on Friday, December 22nd when the Wizards visit the Golden State Warriors. However, Wizards fans will have to wait until February 27th to welcome Poole’s arch nemesis Draymond Green to Capital One Arena. Both of those games should be must-see TV.
This season also marks the inaugural in-season tournament. The Washington Wizards were placed in East Group B with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Miami Heat, the Charlotte Hornets, and the New York Knicks. These games will take place on each Friday of November, starting with a trip to Miami on November 3rd.
On November 29, 2023, after not making it out of their In-Season Tournament group, the Washington Wizards announced two additional regular-season games. They will play the Philadelphia 76ers at home on December 6th, and the Nets in Brooklyn on December 8th.
Washington will close the season at Boston on Sunday, Apr. 14. Whether there will be any postseason games for the Wizards remains to be seen.
