The Washington Wizards are looking to bounce back from Sunday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets against the Toronto Raptors on Monday.

Washington is a tough team to bet on since the team doesn’t play much defense (26th in the league in defensive rating), but one place where we can take advantage is the prop market!

I have three plays to consider for this Wizards-Raptors showdown:

Wizards vs. Raptors best NBA prop bets today

  • Jordan Poole OVER 15.5 points
  • Kyle Kuzma OVER 21.5 points
  • Scottie Barnes OVER 1.5 3-pointers made

Jordan Poole OVER 15.5 points

It’s been an up-and-down season for Jordan Poole, who is averaging 16.4 points per game while shooting just 41.7 percent from the field and 30.0 percent from 3.

However, he’s still taking 14.7 shots per game, a solid floor for him to clear a points prop that is this low.

Toronto is a solid defense – eighth in the league in defensive rating – but Poole is likely going to play 30+ minutes and see some solid volume on offense. I’ll take a shot on him to put up 16 or more in the Wizards’ fast-paced offense (No. 1 in the NBA in pace).

Kyle Kuzma OVER 21.5 points

Kyle Kuzma’s points prop has dropped back to where I am comfortable betting on him again, and he hasn’t let us down in our picks this season.

Kuz is coming off two poor shooting games (7-for-17 and 4-for-16), but I am still high on him because of that insane usage. He still found a way to score 17 and 15 points in those games.

On the season, Kuzma is averaging 23.0 points per game on 47.4 percent shooting from the field. He’s taking 19.2 shots per game, so any time I see that volume, a low 20s number is a must bet in the points department, especially in an offense that plays at the fastest pace in the NBA.

Scottie Barnes OVER 1.5 3-pointers made

Scottie Barnes appears to be making a leap this season for the Toronto Raptors, and he’s shot plenty of 3-pointers – something we didn’t see as much of last season.

Barnes has shot 35.3 percent from beyond the arc, making two or more shots from deep in five games this season, including four of his last five matchups.

In those five games, Barnes has taken a total of 36 shots from 3! That’s massive volume for a player who needs to hit just two shots from deep to clear this prop.

Odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
