The Washington Wizards are taking on the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, and it could be a great game to back Washington in the prop market.

Dallas ranks 26th in the NBA in defensive rating this season, and the team is playing the second night of a back-to-back after getting blown out by the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.

Washington lost on Monday despite a huge game from Kyle Kuzma, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bet on Kuz in the prop market!

Here are my two favorite plays for this Wizards-Mavericks matchup:

Mavericks vs. Wizards best NBA prop bets today

  • Kyle Kuzma OVER 23.5 points
  • Tyus Jones UNDER 6.5 assists

Kyle Kuzma OVER 23.5 points

Kyle Kuzma is having a great season scoring the ball, shooting 48.5 percent from the field while averaging 24.1 points per game.

The Wizards forward has scored 24 or more points on five occasions this season, and he’s had a ton of usage – which makes him an elite prop target.

Kuzma has taken at least 20 shots on five different occasions this season, and he hasn’t had a game with less than 15 shot attempts. That makes him a great bet to have another big scoring night against Dallas.

Tyus Jones UNDER 6.5 assists

Even though Tyus Jones is a steadying presence at point guard for the Wizards, it hasn’t translated into high assist numbers.

The veteran is averaging 5.1 assists per game, recording seven or more dimes on just three occasions this season.

While Dallas isn’t a great defense, I think this number is set a little high for Jones because he has posted eight, one, four, four, six, five, and three assists over his last seven outings.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
