The Washington Wizards have continued to alter their roster this offseason as general manager Will Dawkins looks to add the right mixture of young players and veterans.

Washington has made additions in nearly every possible way they could have this offseason through the NBA Draft, free agency and via trade.

The Wizards have utilized every possible way to add to to their roster, but sometimes to make additions it comes at the expense of a few subtractions.

This offseason Washington has made the decision to cut ties with several players from last season's roster.

Between the likes of Marcus Smart, Richaun Holmes and likely Malcolm Brogdon, who seems destined to end up elsewhere as free agency continues to unflold.

Like every team, players form bonds and one of the most outgoing personalities on the roster Bilal Coulibaly did that with several players.

Considering the guards defensive calling card, it's easy to think that the departure of Smart, a former Defensive Player of the Year, would leave the biggest impact on Coulibaly.

However, the French product's recent comments following a recent FIBA AmeriCup matchup made it clear who he'll miss arguably the most next season:

"I love him, I love Rich. He's probably the hardest player I've played with," Coulibaly said in a postgame interview with Giorgos Kyriakidis of BasketNews. "I'd love to be with him on the court. I think he's going to fit well with this team. So, good luck to him."

Holmes found himself on the outside looking in this offseason after the Wizards opted to buyout the veteran forward following the lack of materialization of a trade.

The big man has served as a solid front court option for nearly every team he's suited up for, but considering his contract and lack of a role with the Dallas Mavericks and Wizards over the last coiple of years, minimal interest turned into Washington resorting to a final resort to free up space and cap room.

The Bowling Green product took no time to find a new team, but in doing that he put a pause on his career in the NBA.

Holmes joined one of the the top European teams beginning his overseas journey signing with Panathinaikos in Greece.

The talented veteran is likely to find a much larger role with his new Greek squad following his lucrative contract he signed with the team in August.

Coulibaly and Holmes' bond will likely remain strong and who knows, the two could be teammates at some point down the line once again.
