The Washington Wizards open their season on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

Washington's busy offseason has plenty of eyes on them, at least in comparison to the eyes that were on them when the season came to an end in April.

The Wizards have the chance to prove they could be a sleeper in the wide open Eastern Conference this season and with a prime opportunity to knock off a playoff team, expect Washington to come out swinging.

That said, here's a look at 3 bold predictions that could shock some fans in the team's regular season opener.

Kyshawn George proves to be the Wizards answer in the frontcourt

Kyshawn George has become one of the most hyped up breakout players on the Wizards young roster entering the season.

The Miami product has everything needed to be a star in Washington and his development on the court, mixed with his work ethic and improved confidence has added a sense of belief in the fanbase and the Wizards coaching staff that he could be a building block in D.C. for years to come.

Hence to why the Wizards coaching staff has asked George to take on more responsibilities as a leader.

Cam Whitmore outscores Kyle Kuzma

The Wizards offloaded Kyle Kuzma ahead of last season's NBA trade deadline in a deal that brought Khris Middleton and AJ Johnson to Washington.

Kuzma was moved for a variety of reasons, but the main driving force behind the departure of the disgruntled forward was the fact that he clearly wasn't the answer in the frontcourt for the Wizards.

Now, with former first-round pick Cam Whitmore on the scene, it wouldn't be a shock to see the Villanova product outperform Kuzma on Wednesday night, while outscoring him off the team's bench.

Tristan Vukcevic is the Wizards most impactful big off the bench

Tristan Vukcevic showed flashes of the progress he made this offseason putting in work with two-time MVP Nikola Jokic overseas,

On a two-way contract, Vukcevic has a lot to prove with the chip on his shoulder and while Washington has other options off the bench in Marvin Bagley III and Anthony Gill, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the7-foot forward outshine the rest of the team's frontcourt options on Wednesday night.

If Vukcevic hears his name called in the team's opener, expect him to be ready to prove why he should be promoted to a standard deal.
