Kyle Kuzma hasn't had a stellar year. In his defense, neither have the Washington Wizards as a whole. His 14.3 points per game on 27 percent shooting from three are some of the worst outputs of his career, and the Wizards are on track for yet another losing season.

So, when big highlights come from him or the Wizards, they stand out. Being able to hold onto any bit of fun offered by the team is huge for fans of the struggling squad. And, Kuzma managed to provide a ridiculous highlight during Washington's game against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.

Kuzma pulls out playground move to make shot v. Raptors

Kuzma managed to pull of an absolutely wild shot against another struggling team in the Raptors. On the play, Kuzma is running out of bounds before he chucks the ball up from far behind the backboard. And, the shot actually goes through the net, no rim required to help.

Kuzma barely looked phased after the make, whereas anyone else might've been in absolute shock that as ridiculous a shot as that actually worked out in their favor. Maybe it's because the team was still losing by double digits by the time the shot went through. So, despite the cool factor involved, it didn't really do much for his energy towards the contest.

It is unfortunate to see Kuzma struggle this much given just how great he's been in the past for Washington and the Los Angeles Lakers. Maybe this shot will give him more confidence to start letting it fly again for the Wizards as they continue to struggle. Considering he's also returning from injury that held him out to start the year, he certainly deserves some slack.

However, it just seems like Washington is headed for another top pick in the draft - they'll need to actually start capitalizing on their young talent, including Kuzma, sooner rather than later.
