The Washington Wizards have officially made it to the All-Star break following their overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.
Washington fans will be without Wizards basketball for a week, but they'll still get the chance to see some of their favorite Wizards in the events during All-Star weekend, even after the team missed out on any players being named to the All-Star roster.
Considering the Wizards are one of the younger teams in the league, mixed with the fact that they enter the break with a league-worst record of 9-45, it doesn't come as a total surprise that they didn't see any of their players named to the ASG.
Even then, the only player the Wiz would have had to make an argument for a nod would have been Jordan Poole who's averaging 21.2 points, 4.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds on the season.
Nonetheless, just because the team doesn't have any of their players in the All-Star game, doesn't mean that the team's fans will be shorted of seeing any Washington players over the weekend.
That said, here's a look at what you need to know ahead of a weekend full of basketball activities.
Rising Stars game includes 3 Wizards
Things will kick off on Friday night with the celebrity game followed by the NBA Rising Stars game.
The Wizards will have three of their very own players in this year's game with Bilal Coulibaly, Alex Sarr and Bub Carrington getting the opportunity to suit up alongside some of the best young players in the league during the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars game.
Washington makes franchise history sending three players to the Rising Star game for the first time in franchise history. In addition, Coulibaly will be the fourth-ever player in team history to compete in this game twice.
Both Coulibaly and Carrington will team up on Team M with former Golden State Warriors player Mitch Richmond serving as the team's honorary coach.
Meanwhile, Sarr will be suiting up against his current teammates with Team T who will be led by another former Warriors player, Tim Hardaway Sr.
The game will tip off on Friday, February 14th at 9 PM Et at Chase Center kicking off All-Star weekend with the first look at NBA players for fans attending the event.
Following their week off, the Wizards will return to action next Friday (2/21) against the Milwaukee Bucks at home.
