1 Question for every Wizards player as countdown to busy summer begins

6. What does the future hold for Bilal Coulibaly?
Last week, the Wizards announced that 19-year-old rookie Bilal Coulibaly fractured his wrist during the team's March 16th matchup with the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. A likely candidate for the league's All-Rookie team, the 2023 NBA Draft's 7th overall pick finished the season as an everyday starter after making just one start in his first 45 career games.
Coulibaly played his way into a starting role with strong defensive ability and an improving offensive package. In March, Bilal averaged 10.3 points per game with his best defensive rating of any month this season. The Wizards will certainly continue to expand his role as he grows more comfortable in the NBA.
7. Does Tristan Vukcevic project as a starter?
Taken as a draft-and-stash selection in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft, Tristan Vukcevic recently signed a two-year rest-of-season deal with the Wizards to make his debut in the league. During Saturday's win over the Raptors, Vukcevic logged his first three minutes of NBA action.
As things stand, Tristan is the only seven-footer on the Wizards roster, making him a prime candidate to take over duties at center in the future. Having turned 21 years old in March, Vukcevic is still very young and the team will certainly continue to slowly ease him into NBA game speed.
