14. Can Kyle Kuzma truly be a franchise cornerstone?

After the league-wide trade deadline in February, Kyle Kuzma made one thing clear: he wants to build something here. Despite being in the early stages of what will certainly be a multi-year rebuilding process, the 2020 NBA Finals champion showed his commitment to the District and is focused on being part of the next great Wizards team.

Kuzma is the Wizards' leading scorer by a wide margin this season. His outside scoring at 6'9", coupled with his ability to finish through contact at the rim, makes him a handful for even the league's toughest defenders. Along with having a team-friendly contract, the Wizards would be wise to keep Kuzma around.

15. What role will Patrick Baldwin Jr. play with the Wizards next season?

At the deadline this past October, the Wizards exercised Patrick Baldwin Jr.'s club option for the 2024-25 season, committing a roster spot to the 21-year-old forward for the future. Baldwin was the Golden State Warriors' first-round selection, traded to Washington as part of the Jordan Poole-Chris Paul deal.

The Wizards have steadily increased Baldwin's minutes this season, getting as high as 15.4 minutes per game in March. As the summer approaches, the Wizards will assess Baldwin's role with the team and determine his place in the rotation next season.
